4x4 frame conversion
Can I put a 72 SWB truck body on a 71 Blazer frame? I know it won't be easy, just wondering if things would "bolt up" or what. Wheel bases the same, etc? Thanks.
Jason

Re: 4x4 frame conversion
Blazer frames are shorter and would have to be lengthened.

Re: 4x4 frame conversion
Or put the cab on and shorten the bed...a super short bed!

Re: 4x4 frame conversion
If you shorten the bed, it's only 4 or 5 inches.. isnt it? It would still look pretty cool, and not hard to do for a body guy.

Re: 4x4 frame conversion
It's more work than you think. I've done it. Cab mounts are different on rear. Need to put 2" body lift or cut out back of lower cab. They do ride nice though. Good luck.........Rick
