ARGH!!!Losing my shop 8/31
I rent a barn on a farm that has been for sale for commercial developement for eons.I just got a letter yesterday stating it is sold as of 7/1.Per my lease,I get 60 days to vacate my second home.I may need to unload some parts if I can`t find a home.I can`t consider leasing another shop, unless it as cheap as this one was...fat chance!

Yea..Thats not good. I have my stuff spread out all over the county. Its tuff to find a spot that will let you keep greasy, rusty trucks. Unless they are truck lovers too. Good luck.

I guess you knew it was inevitable...sucks nonetheless. Is there a lot of development in Mt. Airy now? Go further out in the country in search of a new barn

Re: ARGH!!!Losing my shop 8/31
that sucks big time man. yea it's damn near impossible to find someone renting something big for cheap. i lucked out w/ mine at $300 a month for a 3 bay. but my buddy is not so fortunate spending $125 for a container.
good luck w/ finding a new shop. and let me know if you've got any 67-68 hoods you wanna unload.

Re: ARGH!!!Losing my shop 8/31
This place is outside Frederick,MD.Yes,Mt.Airy is getting built-up.I`m out here about 6 miles and nothing`s changed. It takes an idle farm sitting waiting for a land developer to get a barn. The rest are in ag use.I have a friend on a 500 acre far a couple miles up the road.I need to see what he can provide(inside).I have posts and beams up for a two-car.Time to get it under some tin.I knew it was inevitable, but had it 5 years. This is one reason, other than my wife leavind, that I considered thinning out for the first time in my life.Won`t be buying a bigger piece of ground anytime soon.
