I have had this 68 LWB C10 for about two months and finally got the camera out for some pics. I picked this up for about $1800 and was curious as to what you guys think. Oh yeah ignore the dates on the pics. I am an idiot with my wifes camera lol.

Thanks. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I think I got decent deal. The only big thing I found was rust made its way down to the external vents on both sides and under the cowl on both sides. Most likely due to residue from trash getting in the cowl vents.

I'd say you got a pretty good deal for 1800 bucks.

What are your plans for it?

Pretty much to keep it like it is. I want to change the mirrors and bumpers to something a bit more appealing. Other than that I want to keep it with the 307 and 3 speed it has. I am going to go custom on the interior with some diamond plate door panels, dash bezel, and a console for the radio. I like the color tho and I most likely wont change that.

I think you got a great deal. Truck looks great! Are you going to keep the mirrors? Mine had those when I bought it, but they've since been removed. Got any pics of the motor?

I dont have any plans for the ones I have. If you need them I have no problem with sending them to you. I dont have pics of the motor. It is pretty much the stock 307. I can take some pics and post them.

I don't need them, but thanks for the offer. Not really my cup of tea, but I didn't want to offend you by coming right out and saying that. I'm kind of partial to the 307's; that's what my 68 had factory.

Thanks. I thought I did good. This is my first c10 and I am looking forward to working on it. So far I love everything about it. I am new to the board and am really impressed by the amount of help here. I am planning to be a regular here as long as I can.

I like the mirrors for a working/towing rig......like mine. We put some LMC mirrors on my son's truck and at hiway speeds they shake so bad you can't tell a cop from a semi.
