A brand new dually couldn't do it better, and sure wouldn't look as gooddoing it.

The Big Block does a great job with the load, I pull it down into low (not 4 low) and just let off the brake and it takes off, I actually have to ride the brake because it starts going to fast. This is in the field, never touching the gas pedal, pulling just under 20,000 pounds.

That is a awesome truck,Bram! I'd rather have a old chevy 4wd converted to 1 ton and some basic upgrades than own a new 1 ton 4wd any day!

Only difference now is that it's fuel injected, and a lot dirtier.

so it's the same motor you just put an aftermarket fuel injection kit on it? where'd you get the a/c set up?

how about some pics of your ball mount i bee wanting to set mine up to pull a goose neck but don't want to cut up my short bed floor

I don't remember the exact cost. It has it's good points (like starting in any weather) and bad, takes some getting used to.

Fine tuning it has been a learning experience for me. It comes with a display module that you can adjust your fuel curves, spark, and a lot more. I cant seem to get everything tuned just right.
It has helped in the fuel economy area though, I'm getting around 2 mile to the gallon better. Doesn't seem like much but when you consider that I was getting 8 miles to the gallon....any little bit helps.

Had you looked at the Holley fuel injection kits? I am going to get the Holley Stealth Ram for mine as soon as I sell my darn house and get a garage back. I had looked at the Edelbrock but when it said powerchips I really shied away from it. The holley kits are programmable with a laptop. Are you thinking its maybe just in the chip that you can't get the right setup?
