The zillionth air bag question.

I like the idea of bags but not so I can scrape up the bottom of my ride. Im wondering if a bagged burb will ride smoother with bags or standard suspension? I also like low, but I would want it so if there ever was a problem with the bags nothing would lay below the scrub line...is it possible to build that into the system? Ill be reading all the bagged info I can in the suspension forum...thanks for any insights.
