Manual Disc Brakes.........

I'm converting my manual front drum brakes on my 67 C-30 to disc. I"m using the parts from a 78 donor truck. What do I need for a M/C. I want to keep the brakes manual. I don't want to make them power disc brakes, because of personal preference, i don't like the looks of the booster. I like the engine compartment a simple looking as possible. Any suggestions? Thanks..............Flat 67

Re: Manual Disc Brakes.........

Find a master cylinder with a larger diameter bore to move more fluid it will work fine but use a bit of foot force to get them to really work like manual drums......

Re: Manual Disc Brakes.........

My 74 vette has manual discs on all four wheels and it stops very well. The master cylinder isn't very much $$ so you might try using one of those.

Re: Manual Disc Brakes.........

I'll agree, get one for a 71/72 truck, and plumb the front brakes into the side of the master with the larger resivour... that's what chad was talking about.
