72 and new to the group

Hey everyone it's good to finally find a knowledgeable group with the same interests.
Got a 72 GMC Fleetside and am about as mechanically inclined as a rock.
I am on a steep learning curve right now though.
I want to replace the spark plug wires right now and have no idea what to use.
The baby has a 350 in it supposedly original, numbers faded.

Welcome from western Colorado!! Please think about becoming a site suporter, because this place is 10 times as valuable As any repair manual that you would give the same $'s for. The guys here are very helpfull, and friendly. Plus they post pictures of what they are talking about. Enough about that. Go to your local NAPA parts store for your tune up needs. They can get you all fixed up with the good stuff.

One more thing. The numbers on you engine for ID are stamped in and wont fade. Passanger side, front of the engine where the head bolts to the block ther is a small block or pad, that sticks out from the engine block with numbers stamped in it.

Welcome to the board from South Mississippi! Just go to a good parts store and tell them what you're putting them in. Replace the wires one at a time to make sure you don't get the firing order out of sequence.

Welcome from the corn state!

Get some good wires and they will last a long time and won't short through the insulation. (not Wally World) Take it slow and do it right the first time.....
