Talking Can I use these wheels?????

I was browsing fleabay and came across this truck with these wheels, i was under the impression that the new 6 lug wheels would not work, can any body give me a idea of how this guy made them work? thanks jared

not totally unheard of for people to change out 2wheel drivers to the 6 lug axels. i know a guy who has one (of course, he cusses the guy who he bought it from, "no idea why he thought that was a good idea".

but I Have seen a few with the wheels, as far as I know they bolt right up

if you hog out the center hole, the wheels will bolt right up to the stock 6 lug hubs.
The wheels still look stupid tucked in that far inboard though.

Looks like the guy in the auction listed sells "take off" tires and wheels. It was a natural for him to put those on there.

IMHO they don't look that great.

now that i didnt know. reason the memory of my friend telling me this was... the front end of that truck is 5 lug, and the rear is 6. apparently the guy he got it from was halfway done from switching, and gave up.
