Re: Manual Steering

I still use it on my 67! I like to keep the truck as stock as possible. Still have manual brakes with drums on all 4 corners!

Re: Manual Steering

I drove a '57 belaire with manual steering for 6 years as a daily driver. it's really not bad as long as everything is well maintained. the only real difference is when you are'nt moving. once the wheels are rolling it's all the same.

Re: Manual Steering

I've got manual steering and manual brakes. Don't plan on changing it either. Power steering pumps and I don't seem to get along.

Re: Manual Steering

my '70 c-10 is manual steering and brakes with a 3 on the tree. and if i get my way they will never change! i'm not sure the average person getting in it would know how to drive it. everyone seems worried about how many times you got to turn the steering wheel around to turn a sharp corner.

Re: Manual Steering

I still have manual steering on my '68. I don't really have plans to change it. I've gotten used to it so it doesn't really bother me.
