Seat question
the '88 K5 i picked up last week has mismatched seats -- as in, the back seat is vinyl and the front bucket seats are cloth. They are both the same color.
Did some of them come this way from the factory, or is it just another sign that i should've put my $3000.00 to better use on a cleaner truck ? Will post pics of the thing later |

Re: Seat question
Replacement seat covers are cheap enough, that I'd hardly stress out over mismatched back seats. Your vehicle looks great for the money you paid.

Re: Seat question
Thx for the feedback --------- there are just not a lot of "car guys" in my peer group or family, so i dont get a lot of educated opinions about things that are truck related. Especially Blazers - this being my first one, i had no clue what they are worth , so i jumped in a little blind-- but in my area, i do not see many on the road anymore (tons of 73-87's and even quite a few 67-72's - but few blazers- i guess the production figures were much lower)
Most think i am just an eccentric weirdo for rollin around in vintage stuff half the time, when it is less hassle to just pay $600 a month for a new Tahoe |
