These 2 67 C30s have been sitting awhile

Going back to see how much the owner of the junkyard wants for the black one.I'm too late to save the red one though. Both are 67 C30s.I think they both have 250s and of course the sm420 4spd.
Too bad the red one was crushed,it wasnt in that bad of shape before it was crushed. If I get the black one Im going to see about getting the bed off the red one,it's got the better flatbed...There might still be some other stuff worth saving off the red one too..Do they have the patina look everyone wants? What do you think the black one is worth? I dont know if they run but the black one is mostly complete..If I get the black c30 the plans are to leave the rusty faded paint, put a dana 60 front axle under it to convert it to a 1 ton 4wd...This would be the ultimate parts hauler for me!

Re: These 2 67 C30s have been sitting awhile

I really like the 67-68 look, and have wanted to build a c30 frame into a true 1 ton 4wd. With the small back window and 1 ton, I say buy it. Now that would be the build of all builds if you ask me. The only thing more that I could ask, is for a A/C cab. That can be fitted though.

Dude what happened to the red one?!?!? I figure the black one wouldn't be worth more than $400?

Hard to say...I just passed up a FREE '71 C30 flatbed with non-running 350 that was rebuilt about 10 years ago. I don't like to pay too much for them but love the '67 - '68's. There is another nice runner here for $800 that just won't sell. I hope those prices help you out!

Re: These 2 67 C30s have been sitting awhile

A garage fell in on the red one,I just found that out the other day.The previous owner lived down the road from me.His garage fell in and crushed the front half of it so he junked it...Im going to look over them again tomorrow hopefully...Might have to borrow a trailer and haul it home..I dont see my 4 cylinder s10 towing it

Well from the pic the black one looks like it has a solid roof, how's the rest of it look?

A few dents here and there but remember it being pretty solid for being a salty "Indiana" truck.
