Re: East Caost Summer Crawl
What`s your schedule/plans?Getting there saturday am-sunday afternoon? If I went,I`d go later saturday and stay over somewhere.I`d just camp.If I didn`t have an obligation,I`d run up Saturday am and drive back that evening. It`s about 2.5hrs,not bad.

Re: East Caost Summer Crawl
I guess about 20 guys showed up, lots of nice trail rigs. Sat. turned into atrip of breakage, 2 extreme, all the rest minor. No one hurt, thank goodness, but he said he stained his seat brown. After we can get the pics. posted you'll understand why!!
WEROCK comp. was awesome to watch, you are like 5 feet away from these things, reminded of the old ralleye days with people lined up along the race course.Rausch Creek is a great place with really nice people running it, they deserve alot of credit for pulling of this spectacular event!!! I know I'm going to get blasted for no pics., but I was to busy holding on and readjusting my seat belt. I did see people with cameras, so they will follow....

Got a few, but I'm still trying to recover. Really cool to hang out with you over the weekend. Why so long to get home? J.

The station's were either out of diesel or they were closed altogether. Finally said screw it and used the 5 gallons I carry, put that in and moved on. 2nd delay was picking up the D-60 axle. The whole deal was one misunderstanding after another, wrong direction's given/taken, distances way further than expected, those kinda thing's. Basically, neither the buyer nor the seller had their ducks in a row. It was great to hang with you and your boys, you've got a great thing there. Only hope we get to wheel together some day. We didn't head over to W.E.ROCK cause by the time everything was loaded and ready to go it was 12:30 and I was hoping to be home in time to see my kids before they went to bed...so much for best laid plans though. |

Yeah my boys are something special, but you haven't seen them at full tilt, guite entertaining. Good young men, but I'll never admit to saying that I've got a couple of WERock, and some others. I'll try to post up So did you get the front end?

Re: East Caost Summer Crawl
Here's a couple, shame you can't tell how steep the incline was. Lost brakes at the top, had to winch down...
This was the Black section leading to the Red infamous Rock Creek
