Re: Split Rims

Two questions for you - first I'm trying to determine if the rims on my 67 C20 are split rims. I've been told they have a locking ring. Can you tell me if the locking ring is the outer most part of the rim? Also are you selling any 3/4 ton hubcaps?

Thanks.

Re: Split Rims

My guess is you probably don't . I've only seen the split on the outside
(I'm no expert) but if you look real close at my picture follow the chevy logo
away from the valve stem and you'll see a little gap , that's the keeper part of the split rim. release that and legend say's that split part could take your head off . Alot of tire shop's won't touch them . so be careful
as for cap's mine are 1/2 ton and i hope to use them on differant wheels
thanks
I could get better pic's of the split if you need it.
