60-66 Burb/Panel liftgate hinges. Someone pointed out that they are internal (unlike 67-72) and I'm wondering if I can adapt them or a similar design to my 69 Tahoe. Thanks

In your post Frizzle Fry you said the lift gate, but what I call the hatch is where the hidden hinges are at. So I took some pics of the hatch hinges. If you were wanting pics of the lift gate hinges I can get those for you....although they aren't hidden.

Wow, those are interesting. I wonder why GM stopped using them in 67? I suppose they are not easy to get ahold of either, huh?

I might have an extra pair if you decide you want to try to make them work for your Tahoe. Those hinges often times get seized up from rust and such, and also where they bolt to the hatch is a weak area that will crack out due to the stiff hinges.PM me if you like.
