Parts order placed
Well, with the help of everybody who gave input and alot of info from Blazerboy and Mike C, I have selected and ordered the parts I will use on the 454 I recently bought. I'm pretty darn excited.
A few of the parts are JET Stage II 800 CFM carb, Weiand Action Plus intake (fits the peanut port heads), Crane Cams Energizer 266 cam, springs and retainers, Pro Comp Magnum Roller Rockers, GM Performance Parts valve covers, Moroso black air cleaner, 5" K&N filter, Pete Jackson gear drive (I just couldn't pass on it), Dynomax Cermacoat headers (gawd I hope they fit!), distributor and an MSD Blaster coil, 2 1/2" Dynomax Ultra Flo muffler's, Carter mechanical fuel pump, and gobs of fasteners and gaskets. Can't wait to see what this combination puts out. It's replacing a tired, stock 307 so I have high hopes. UPS girl, where are you!
