looks like a total scam. Don't even reply. I would imagine that it is someone from another country. They will ask for your bank info and everything else. Stay away and do not initiate any further contact.

Re: Who is this guy??

and who was the other one - from the pirate website..XXXXXXXXXX... if he hadn't come clean on his dealing(s), his name would of been a good one to send too. (I think he got it all squared away.... not sure).... let me see if I can find my ex's info.... now THAT would be good... not for HIM though... hahahhahaa

I had to edit this - I'd feel bad if the kid came clean and I dug it back up on him... DONT ADD HIS NAME TO ANY POSTS ON MY ACCOUNT...

I was thinking the same thing. Half of the words without "p" are words in and of themselves (rice, lease, refer, resent, etc.). Sure makes it hard to read. I love the sign-off the best "yours interestingly,"

This is probably one of the many check scammers that hit up Ebay & craigslist sellers.

Report him to ebay as this is his normal way of doing business!

Re: Who is this guy??

I did. This is what they sent. I called my credit card company and they cant do anything since they have paid. I filled a ICCC conplaint. Gonna call my county courthouse tommorrow and see what I can do. This guy has a serious problem, wish I would have heard all the complaints before I ordered parts.

At this time we recommend that you review the options available to you
and take as many of the following actions as may be appropriate:

- Contact your seller directly
- Report the transaction to your bank or payment service
- Filing a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
- File a mail fraud complaint
- Contact law enforcement

c/e/r/t/i/f/i/e/d c/h/e/q/u/e ? Looks like when you get a spam email that breaks up the word so your spam filter won't catch it. S tocks, vi agra, etc. He would probably ask to send you an extra grand or two that you can forward to his "shipper" lol...

Re: Who is this guy??

Many of the custom knifemakers are getting huge orders from overseas- like a dozen knives at a time. We don't get those normally
One maker got the credit card number and got it approved, sent the knives and was THEN told the card was no good.
Thankfully he posted right away so no one else got burned.
Be careful out there...

Re: Who is this guy??

I got something very similar from craigslist and I finally ignored the guy as his messages looked pre-programmed or he's just an idiot (probably both). He never would mention the actual item being sold but would refer to it as "the product". He did also put like somebody else mentioned that the check I would receive would be for more than the part was worth and that I should give all the extra money to his shipper. If you ask me that sounds like drug money or dirty money BIG TIME!! Definitely stay away from the puke.
