Re: kpcomponents notch..........

Project 67, the quality of the notch is excellent. make sure and measure twice before you turn the welder on. I believe the best way is to get your sides tacked on, then top, then cut out the original frame, so that you can snug the bottom in. Good Luck.

Re: kpcomponents notch..........

Looks good 67 Fleet, are you still running the stock trailing arms or something else. I'm running the same notch, bags and mounts as you are. However I decided to switch to a parallel 4-link and a narrowed ford 9". Let me know if you have any tips for this set-up.

Re: kpcomponents notch..........

I'm still running the stock arms out back. I think you'll be happy with a 4-link. It'll ride nice! Whose did you go with? KP or SD?

Tire size will determine notch height.

That system looks very familair to the one I did on the black truck shown above. That KP Notch and Under The Bed mounts look sweet.

Next would be a KP Bolt-On 4 Link for the 67-72 trucks if you decide to ditch the factory arms.

Keep up the good work.

True that.

Depending on what size wheel and tire combo you choose to run will determine how high you set the notch when it's welded in. Best thing to do is take all your measurement to figure out your ride heigth and drop height before you weld it in.

Good Luck with the truck.

Re: kpcomponents notch..........

Clint, I sent you a PM about a KP watts link. I need to know if it's available for 12-bolt GM rear end. I didn't see it listed on the site.
