Drive Shaft

Hey, I have a 67 that I put a 82 front crossmember in, then replaced the powerglide with a turbo 350. I have been looking for a drive shaft 85 inches center to center. Well today I found one from a 2003 chevy truck, the front spline slid right in the tranny. The problem is the rear u-joint will not fit the rear end.Looks like a 1 inch nut in the center of u-joint saddle will remove it.Now will a 2003 rear end u-joint fit a 67 rearend???? HELP
