LWB: Looking for ides and feedback.
Thinking of installing Ride Tech COOL RIDE suspension with the 4000e2 compressor system. Also like the Foose Nitrous wheels or the ARE T2's
I like all the wheel set-up's (18f/20r 20f/20r & rare-- 20f/22r) What are the pros and cons to diff set-ups? I figure the suspension will cost me $2500.00 (more than I wanted to spend at 1st) And I can get a set of foose wheels for about the same price. I like the idea of air suspension due to the level of adjustment and coolness factor...I dont care if its touching the gound at shows or anything...just want it to be lower than when driving. (So I dont need the most advanced system on the market I think) Questions I have: Am I wasting $$ to install these items on a LWB truck? I have not seen 2 many LWB vehicles on this site (trust me I love the SWB but I could not pass up the truck I bought) I dont want to destroy the vaule of the truck, but I figure everything that gets installed can be taken off to. Does anyone have pics of LWB vehicles lowered to look at?? Any ideas of what to do with the truck...please advise Sorry again...Im new to this scene....but want to become well informed.

IMO i like long beds more than short, to my eyes they look better than a short( NO DISRESPECT SHORT BED GUYS) i just think they look better in stock form and done up, i had a 67 short stepside in high school. and i never got that attached to it, i seen a 69 long bed, and it was all over form there, just my two cents

Re: LWB: Looking for ides and feedback.
There is a Hotrod shop near where I live, these guys always use the stagger Wheel look on everything that comes in thier shop and that is what they say is a key componet to the hotrod look. I have also heard 20" wheels up fron are hard on stock rotors??
Check out this thread "Stagger wheel size or not? 18" & 20" or 20" all the way, What do you think?"

Thanks for the feedback everyone...I have a shop near me too that I keep hearing about....called The Hot Rod Garage Inc in Denton, Md I did a search and found his vehicles in many mag's and shows...I want to look him up. I was talking to the guys at ARE wheels and they told me about this shop....says he will measure everything to make the wheels look like the truck was made around them!
