59 El Camino
Hey guys! My buddy just inherited a 59 El Camino that is all original (minus the 327). The problem (other than its youthfulness) is that his grandma lossed the keys sometime over the 10 years that it was garaged.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the ignition switch? I figure, if its anything like my 67, there's just a one piece plug in the rear of the ignition switch. I figure I can "alligator clip" the right contacts together to turn her over. Can anyone hook me up with a diagram or a description of which colored wire leads to where? Less hunting I have to do. Thankyou!
