1969 GMC Stepside For Sale

As much as I keep trying to tell myself that I can make time for this truck I can not. This was my daily driver up until about a week ago when I talked myself into taking the front clip off to start swapping parts over to a restored chassis that I bought from BowtieOgre. I now wish I had left it alone. It now sits without the front clip on it waiting to have the engine pulled. (That was the next step.) I kept going back and forth on keeping it or selling it, but the selling side has finally won out. The pictures are from before I removed the front clip. The 250 I6 ran fine, and the TH350 shifted great. It will need a new radiator core support, as do most, and the passanger side fender well will need replacing as well. There are some rust issues, but the truck is in great condition compared to most.
I'm not looking to part this truck out, and would like to sell it complete, because I still have the other chassis, and many other parts to sell.

The first $2500 takes the truck home. Ouch! I hate to see it go.

Re: 1969 GMC Stepside For Sale

Bring me a total of $5000, and get everything I have for this truck. That includes the truck you see in the pictures as well as the lowered, restored chassis from BowtieOgre, and other goodies such as:

Solid Fender Wells, both left and right
Universal Wiring Harness
21-Gallon Poly Tank for under the bed
Automatic Tilt Column with Lokar Linkage
Rubber Bumpers for hood, doors, and glovebox
Front Deluxe Sidemarkers
Rear Deluxe Sidemarkers
Solid Battery Tray
Brake Backing Plates
Window Handles
Door Handles
Pedals Pads with Stainless Trim
Totally Stainless Body Bolt Kit
Stainless Bed Bolt, Only the eight that mount the bed to the frame
Cab Mounts
Radiator Mounts
Black Door Panels
Black Arm Rest
Black Dash Pad
Black Visors and Hooks
Door Gaskets
Vent Window Kit
Extra Vent Windows

This doesn't even scratch the surface of what the chassis has on it.

Re: 1969 GMC Stepside For Sale

Here a breakdown for the chassis:

Front 5-lug Disc Conversion Kit w/ 2-1/2" drop spindles
(This includes new ball joints, tierod ends/sleeves, bearings, seals, and rotors)
2" Drop Springs on the front
4" Drop Springs on the back
1-1/2" Drop Blocks on the back
ECE Front Shock Relocator Brackets
ECE Rear Shock Relocator Brackets
ECE Front Sway Bar
ECE Super Track Bar
ECE Hidden Hitch
New Bump Stops front and back
ECE Drop Trailing Arm Crossmember
ECE Auto Trans Crossmember
Idler Arm
Pitman Arm
Upper Control Arm Shafts
Lower Control Arm Shafts
Caprice Rear Calipers and Pads (Yes, it has rear disc brakes)
Rear Rotors
Caliper Brackets
And of course a chassis with four tires and wheels on it. I think they are Rally-Truck, but I think they are only 15" x 7" with mismatched tires.

So, that is the truck, all the parts listed in my second post, and the whole chassis!! For $5000!!!
Why so cheap? The faster is leaves the faster I can over the pain of letting it go. Plus, if it all goes as a package I don't have try to store stuff in my already packed garage that my wife would like to park in again.

Oh yea, I have a bench seat that will need recovering too.

Re: 1969 GMC Stepside For Sale

Bump for the afternoon for you. Looks like a good deal, wish I was closer would be very tempted and need many of those parts in the "other goodies" list.

If you happen to split some of them off:
-Stainless Bed Bolts
-Pedals Pads with Stainless Trim
-Black Dash Pad
-Vent Window Kit
-Passenger side fender well
-Stainless Body Bolt Kit
-Tilt Column (maybe)

My vote however would be to keep it, put back on the front clip, and run it.

Matt

I'll take the truck, but I can't take the parts, it doubles the shipping cost.

Re: 1969 GMC Stepside For Sale

I would have loved to buy the whole package, but I just took the truck. Shipping charges on two chassis was a bit much...
