My Mom just hit my truck

hey guys well my mom just hit my 68 GMC on the drivers side door. She was backing her station wagon out and she wasnt watching where she was going and hit it squarely in the door. Just left a huge dent in it. It still opens and closes fine. I am not mad, she was all upset with herself but hey accidents happen and it is not like it is a 30,000 dollar vehicle. But i want to get rid of it. Any takers. I will take 500 for it the way it is right now. it has a 305 V6 and 3 spd tranny with Positraction rearend New brakes all the way around new dashpad newer carpet and newer tires. Thanks
John

That's a drag. If it's your truck, I'd get an estimate and have her insurance pay you the amount. You've got it coming.

I had a 72 Chevy that had just one dent in it, near the front of the right fender. I sold that truck and bought another one that was really straight. I had it about a week, and my wife backed into it in exactly the same place the other one had been dented. She felt terrible, but all I could say was, "Thanks, honey, now I won't miss the other one so much."

Mom is doing better i guess there is a small dent in the station wagon nothing bad, i am just glad she didnt hit it on the hinge or fender. The truck runs and drives good. Good oil pressure. 3 spd Hurst shifter on the floor. Any takers.

Take her to court. Have her thrown in jail.
Not really; just kidding.
Take her some flowers or something. She probably feels pretty bad about it.

Beat the dent out and tell her it's good as new.

I hope the dented door isn't why you want to sell it!

No I am not selling the truck because of the dent. I only want one truck that way i can focus my attention on that. I have tried to sell this truck on here before but I thought this incident would be a good way for someone to get a good deal.
thanks
John
