wheel hub cap question...?

If I want to find the type hub caps that are on the pick-up below (not mine). What are they called? These are not dog dish, correct? What did they come on originally? Are they available in both chrome and painted? I love these,I wanna run these on my project truck, but don't know what to call them in "search" on parts board.

Re: wheel hub cap question...?

Not entirely sure, but they look a bit like police car caps from some year.

You might searh around for a police car forum and snoop a bit.

Re: wheel hub cap question...?

I thought they might be a O.E. truck cap. I thought I'd seen them on another truck in this forum.... hmmmm?
So, maybe a late 60's caprice/impala?
