Cruise Question
I'm going to remove the cruise assembly from a 79 donor truck for another truck I'm restoring and want to be sure I get every thing I need to complete the swap . I did a search but was not able to find a call out of all the system components . Can anyone help me out here . thanks.

Re: Cruise Question
Some one told me the instrument panel was wired different on the cruise trucks and I would need to include the donor trucks instrument panel in the swap . Is that correct ? Any other tips would be welcome .

Re: Cruise Question
you need everything from the speedo cable at the back of the cluster to the tailshaft of the transmission. The cruise stalk out of the column and the wiring connected to everything, you will also need the bracketry going to the carb from the cruise module located under the hood.

Re: Cruise Question
There's also a vacuum line running to a switch on the brake pedal.
