Re: Rear leaf springs??
Any good spring shop can make you some if you just bring them your old ones so they know exactly what specs to make the new ones.

Re: Rear leaf springs??
I measured the rear leafs and they are just under 52".
I found this company Eaton Spring in Detroit. Has anyone dealt with them before? A new set was quoted at $430.00 http://www.eatonsprings.com/ Thanks , John |

For factory replacement go to a good spring shop. In most cases they can even custom arch the springs for extra lift if you want. They will know what you need.

Re: Rear leaf springs??
We installed 3/4 ton springs in all 4 corners of my wife's 72 K5. These are replacement springs avaliable through any spring supplier. No need to use any of the 4x4 aftermarket brands (which, I understand, are just re-packaged springs made by one of only a few manufacturers). If you use urethane bushings you will need Energy Suspension's special kit for this (since the replacement front springs do not have the "bow tie" ends the urethane bushing shoulders are wider to make up the difference). This set up works very well--looks great (adds only about an inch to the height) and rides nice.

Re: Rear leaf springs??
I did a Rancho add-a-leaf and gained 1.5" of arch back. Gonna be bouncy now but it only cost $50
