07 GMC 3500 Classic-Durmax

I'm at about 5K miles and looking at changing the oil for the first time.

I was considering a synthetic. What brand is recommended if any?

Is mobile 1 used in diesels?

our company uses dino oil til 20k, then we switch to 5w40 mobil 1 synthetic. thats with the cummins diesel.
