Tonneau cover question
I'm trying to find who that makes a soft cover that covers the bedrail, most of the ones I've seen fit inside the rail. Hinged would be a plus!!! It's for a longbed.

Re: Tonneau cover question
Checker Industries, in Benton, KY has the one I'm lookin' at. They advertise as Checkmate in the magazines. There are many others.
www.checkerpro.com www.stylinconcepts.com What I am seeing is that getting a tonneau cover that completely covers the top of the bedsides is not going to be easy. Most of what I saw will fill the bed opening, but not cover the stake pockets. But I have seem them, I just haven't found it, today. Kinda makes an argument for filling the stake pocket holes, huh?

Re: Tonneau cover question
I have a hard cover on my GMC. I don't really like it, but the bed stays dry. I don't like the way it sets on the bed, nor the way it hangs over the top of the tailgate.

Re: Tonneau cover question
I have a sportmaster tonneau cover.
These are made in Ohio. This is my second one and they have both been 1st rate covers. No holes to drill since they clamp to the inside bed rail. They even arrive with the foam pad installed on the bottom of the rails. This last one took me about 20 minutes to install by myself. $210.60 for your truck for the slant side with a lifetime warrenty and free shipping and handling. http://www.svcustoms.com/catalog/Sla...BedCover.shtml SVC is who I bought mine off of.

Re: Tonneau cover question
Checkmate fits inside the opening/flush.Gaylord`s fits over the top rail. Those are the two best choices in hard covers.Jim Carter offers a framed tonneau that you can get in colors.I goe to the upholstery shop as always and have mine made to fit the way I want it in the fabric I want. Those teeny little snap holes don`t scare me.

Re: Tonneau cover question
The PO had installed a leather tonneau cover that was made by Saddlebrook. It was held on my a header bar at the front of the bed, and then velcrowed (spelling) down the sides and the back of the bed.
