hello everyone,
Im in the search for a paintable rear bumper for my 71 fleetside. I havent got any luck in the classified section. so im willing to buy a repop but i cant find anyone who wells a paintable version. the tri plus company does but their web site wants $130 to ship it (thats more then the bumper itself!).

If anyone knows of a company who sells a paintable bumper please help me know or if anyone is willing to sell one.

special-k whats a sport bumper? i didnt know there was a difference from the factory. I have seen tons or step bumpers like mine but i thought that was dealer installed. And yes i need the brackets for it, but ive seen tons of them on ebay for sale, also the chrome bumpers like i want but i want a paintable one

All the vendors sell them.You could post a WTB in the parts board for a used one,if you want a used one.The sport bumper is what the matching rear bumper is known as...non-step.

I can get you one shipped cheaper than that. Bumper is around $100 for a painted one.

Tripro AUtomotive is in South Plainfield Nj and it should not cost Anywhere near $100.00 to ship. We ship bumpers just about anywhere in the Country for $50 and under.The do not ship truck freight. You Probably can drive there. Its not to hard to find. Of course we could sell you one to but your so close.

thanks everyone for the response, I was looking on vender's sites over the weekend and that was all i found on my semi quick search. I was going to call them about picking it up at their store but didnt have time today. also junk yards around me are on the rarity and the ones there are dont have much old stuff.

I bought a bunch of body parts and a bumper from GMC Paul and Classicheartbeat and picked them up at the warehouse in South Plainfield NJ with no shipping.I am pretty sure they were Triplus. It was right off I 287. Chris

You can do that through any vendor that buys from Keyparts. We go their to warehouse to pick up are parts to. You can buy through any vendor.
Just ask for Tom Macon. TriPro is in the same building in back. You can buy from them and walk over

i recently got a front paintable bumper from him and the quality is great.

ive also held some repo sheet metal from him and couldnt believe how heavy it was.

jon ill be coming there as soon as we get a rainy afternoon.
your stuff is loaded in the truck, and i will be purchasing a few items also.

i think there calling for rain friday.

zeeklu- I try not to go through my town much even though i used to work on the cop cars most of the people dont like my ratty/loud/un-orthodox vehicles... i will have to more now to see if your trucks there

The local junk yard I sanded mine back down and painter her white __________________ 1-Cheyenne 72 700R4,camper special all original when i got it then i improved it a little Blue and White 3.73,4 core rad, 700r4,MSD hei ,turbo muffs dual exhaust only had 50 k on it when i bought original mile sweet old ladies truck turned into a stump puller No. 2 C-10 72 w/air and Tilt and power and the cheyenne trim package shtbd is dropped 2-3w/factory tilt has torq thrust 2 rims 2003 dodge neon steel blue color
