im new need some answers!

i have a 69 chevy c10 lwb but i wont to shorten it
how much do i need to cut off?

i just lowerd it and i dont like the long bed look! i need help

hope you're a really great welder cause to shorten the bed you need to weld about 40feet of metal then dress thode welds

8" off the back end and 12" off the front end by the cab. Do a search under my board name for "LFD's Low Buck Truck Build". I did a full how too on doing just this.

Or (if you don't know how to do the work yourself, you didn't say if you could or not) you could have a shop shorten your frame and purchase a shortbed box.

The chassis has to be shortened by 12 inches. Early Classic Enterprises did the work that was featured in Classic Trucks or Custom Classic Trucks (I don't remember which), in which they converted a C-20 LWB to a SWB. You can buy new sheetmetal for a short bed, if you don't pare down the length of your long bed.
