Rasing your bed floor questions

Hello everyone! I have another question. I am curious on how people are rasing there bed floor. Mainly on how you fasten the bed support pieces to the bedside? I was thinking about making a bracket and then welding it to the bedside but worried about the weight of the bed side supporting on the thin pieces of metal that the bed is built with. I hope that makes sence. I have never seen how the beds are bolted to the frame in person. The truck when i got it the bed was already loose so i never got to see how it was put together. Pictures would be very helpful. Thanks alot

Josh
