Blazer/Jimmy fuel tank sending unit

I have a sending unit for a blazer/Jimmy gas tank. I used a multi meter to check it and the resistance changes as the float is moved up and down. I CAN'T verify on a real gage though at this time, so I am selling as is. I do think it will work though. The inside of the tank was rust free and the sending unit just has some surface rust on the outside. The filter bag on it is in good shape. $20.00 shipped to you.SOLD

Thanks for looking,
Mike

I'm interested. Can you measure the diameter of the top where it fits onto the tank? Also do you have the lock ring with it?

Re: Blazer/Jimmy fuel tank sending unit

Is the sender for a later model Blazer tank?? 27 gallon? I bought one of the surplus tanks and need a sender and lock ring. I guess I need to go measure the sender hole on my tank......

Re: Blazer/Jimmy fuel tank sending unit

I'll pass. Just got a chance to measure my tank and the hole is 2 7/8 across so I'd need about a 3 3/8 dia. unit.
