turbo on a 292 in-line 6

I was doing some reading o putting a turbo on my 292 that i will be rebuilding. The book i am reading says the bittom end will hold up, but i am wondering how it all works with a carb.

go to www.inliners.org

they have a whole board about forced induction on straight 6's, along with couple guys running turboed 250's/292's.

pretty much the best place in the world for GM 6's, IMHO.

INliners are a weatlth of info and I shifted it to the engine board for you.

Look for a book from Leo Santucci (sp). Book is good and has a whole section turbo's.

Spelling is correct. Book is titled "Chevrolet Inline Six Cylinder Power Manual." Published by California Bill's Automotive Handbooks, Tucson, AZ. C. 2002.
