Anyone Know C20 Rear Axle Weights - Dana vs Eaton ???

Going to swap out a non-posi Eaton HO52(the standard axle) with 4.10 and replace with a Dana Posi with 3.54. I would like to know if the Dans is lighter than the Eaton. That Eaton is a big ugly guy for sure, but the Dana ain't light either.

Anyone know the total rear axle weight with drums for these rears ?

And for comparison, what does a standard 1/2 ton 12 bolt weigh ?

Thanks

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that the Dana 60 would save you about 100 pounds over the corporate axle ("Eaton").

I'll have to agree.... again, with the "I honestly have no idea" disclaimer.
