Re: WTB a few things in OKC area

I have a bunch of hood hinges, will get pics tomorrow. I have some gray take out seats from I think a 2005 or 2006 Expedition, not sure about the seat belts, will have to look.

project1971,

Thanks for the offer. I'm after an original "Chevrolet", though.

Do you know of any salvage yards in the area that might have some of the stuff? Seems like none of them cater to the older models - they're more or less chop shops....

Thanks,
HomerJ

Re: WTB a few things in OKC area

I have a chevy tailgate that is straight as an arrow, orig paint, with trim. The upper piece of trim is broke but the lower is fine. A few small dents with light surface rust on the inside from paint scratching for 225.00. I am on the East side of Dallas. I can get some pictures latter if interested.

Project1971,
Thanks for the info. I'll check them out. I haven't been to Tuttle in several years - I forgot about some of the yards out there.

Wornbrakes,
Sounds like a good deal. I'm going to try my luck a little closer to home, though. If you still have the tailgate when I'm tired of looking for one, I'll send you a PM.

Mike,
Thanks for the tip! I'll swing by there this week.

Rick,
Are those "solid" hinges? I know that my passernger side hinge is pretty much worn out, but you couldn't tell by just looking at it.
I'll let you know by Friday this week. That's a nice deal, BTW.

Thanks to all for your replies!

Wornbrakes,

Do you still have the tailgate? I still want to check some local spots, but haven't had time this week that I thought I would (working sucks!).
