which cab mounts

I'm planning on buying new cab/rad/bed mounts from ece. They have them for 67-68, and 69-72. I'm using a 72 cab on a 68 frame, so which one do I need?

Re: which cab mounts

IIRC the difference is in the radiator support mounts.I "think" you need the years for the rad sup you are using.Hopefully someone who knows for sure will back me up on this.

with Panel on the core/radiator mount.

Don't forget about Wes in Tumwater at Classic Heartbeat. Great vendor and all around goodguy. Plus he's local. Take a drive and visit his shop/store. Always something going on.

Re: which cab mounts

Your right about the core support mounts but it is the year frame not ther actual core support. The 67-68 core support frame brackets up front sit higher and have a smaller hole so 69-72 radiator support mounts wont fit.

Re: which cab mounts

You have a 68 frame, so you use 67-68 stuff. The only difference is in the core support mounts. Aarons72s is correct about the location of the frame brackets and size of hole. Besides what cab that you use has no bearing on the body mounts. Year of chassis, and wether you have a 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, 1 ton, or 4X4 matters. WES
Insedently, 3/4 ton, all 4X4 trucks, and 1 tons use the same body mounts. Given the only exception of 67/68 core support mounts.
