I need to replace all the brake lines on my project Rusty (84 K30)
Where do you guys suggest to order a kit for oem replacement lines?

when i did my break line on my old 86 i just went and got straight line from autozone that was coated to not rust. i then proseted to remove the old line and use a pipe bender so make it the same as stock and it was cheaper to.

JUst a thought and the tool you cna rent or buy at the zone. (autozone) its cheap and comes in handy alot

Well LMC truck has a set for $99 and I replaced one line on a truck and by the time I bought the fittings to join the two lines I had $35 into it so I was thinking. I would have more in lines and fittings than a prebent kit.

true but i just did all of it and only had i think 2-3 fitting for the main stratch.

My front brakes setup - stock master cylinder nut, new parts-store-special 3/16 brake line ($3), a T-ee union ($2), two more parts-store-special lines (short piece for left side ($2), loooong one for the right side ($4)), and that's all.

My rear brakes setup - stock master cylinder nut, short 1/4 part-store brake line ($2), manual brake bias valve ($25), four looong pieces of parts-store brake line ($4 each), three 1/4 unions ($1 each), and that's it.

Total for the fronts - under $15, total for the rears - under $50. Best of all I bypass the stock proportioning valve (I use different tires front and back so it's off) and I get to adjust the rear brakes as I please - half off when running empty, increasing the pressure as the load goes up, all the way to full pressure if there's something big behind me that I have to stop

Well maybe I'll just go the piece it togethor route.

You might try Inline Tube or Classic Tube for pre-bent lines. I used one of these places for the pre-bent lines for the rear axle on my 1/2 ton. The pair of lines was around $30. For me the convenience was worth the extra money I spent.

This is where I get mine (either of the 2) as I wanted the stainless versions.

Been told im nuts to bring it back from the dead (still going to happen) plans-all stock with a turbo 292 inline 3 speed column shift. and thats it big block 427 and 5 speed trans and ford 9 inch theyhave no home yet thinking what to put them in and a 79 c60 trash truck um no idea i have one
