Re: 2/4 drops

Agreed. Even better for me would be 2"front 4"rear on a 3/4 ton with stock-ish rims and tires that could be used for towing a trailer.

I agree. And please don't just point to the picture thread:

I would like to see any new, and just 2/4 drops. I have tried this before unsuccessfully. It shouldn't be that hard to do.

Re: 2/4 drops

Here is my 71 with the 2" in front and 4" rear. The front wheels are 15x8 with 275/15/60 and the rear wheels are 15x10 with 295/15/50.

This pic is a rear wheel after a polish.

I really like your paint! What brand/colors did you use?

I've got a C20 that is in the middle of a disc brake install and I am planning on painting it after I finish patching all of the rust.

I'm also doing a 2"/4" drop, but I won't have the springs in until this weekend at the earliest.

Re: 2/4 drops

Not sure, it was painted when I bought it. Its a good 20 footer. lots of runs and other screw ups. Plus my dog decided that he wanted to get in the drivers door, when it wasnt open. He scratched the hell out of the paint, and ruined my new window felt and rubber.... <sigh> excuse to do all the body work and repaint. I think I will stick with the color though, I really like it!
