PS Pump Bracket Question

I heard these are for a long water pump, which I have. So where do I hook up these brackets at? I've searched and can't seem to find anything in the forums on this. Does anyone have pictures or anything?

Also, I don't have any of the bolts. Can anyone tell what sizes I need?

Re: PS Pump Bracket Question

the bracket on the right is bolted to the left side of the pump. it needs to be turned around with that nut thats welded on it, facing the back and is at the top. the hole on this bracket that is in line with the nut hole fit around the water pump. then a bolt slides through the front hole in the bracket through the pump and screws into the welded nut.

the bracket on the left is bolted to the right side of the pump, the holes bolt to the front of the pump and the groove fits on the right to the back of the pump.

the other little bracket bolts to the exhaust manifold and should be easy to see after you get the other 2 brackets bolted on.

Re: PS Pump Bracket Question

Ill try to help. The first pic shows the boss on the long pump the pump attaches to. I have seen two types, one has a bored hole and the other a threaded hole. The second pic is on a long pump and all you can see is the kind of shiny head of the bolt. Mine has a through bolt with a threaded boss on the backside of the P.S. bracket. It fastens to a bolt in the front of the head and the front exh. manifold bolt. Your rear brackets look like they may be for A/C truck. The last pic shows how it looks from left side of pump.

Re: PS Pump Bracket Question

I'm sure I understand all 3 brackets now. Since I can't hook it up tonight and see for myself, where does the bolt coming out of the back of the PS pump connect to? Also, on the adjusting bracket (the left one in my pic) what goes into the slot?

The last picture in post #7 shows that bracket with the the bolt through the slot and into the bracket on the exhaust.
