Has anyone used patch panels on their truck? Door skins, rocker panels etc etc?

It depends on what you need to fix. I don't want to tell you what to do because I'm a vendor and it would seem biased. But I would encourage you to ask questions like you're doing and find a vendor close to you to work with.

Re: Patch Panels

I appreciate that info Tri Pro, and I saw you site. I went to Classic Industries which is about 30 miles from me and picked up a few pieces. I guess my next tool to get is a welder.

very handy piece! The truck should be a lot of fun for you. You have a lot of good vendors on the West Coast and some real dedicated ones are right here on the boards. Once you're a customer for them then they can also be a tremendous help technically.

Re: Patch Panels

I would recommend ebfabman's DVDs on doing the cab repair...floor, rockers, cab corners etc...a great jump start on knowledge.
