Emergency Brake cable hooks
Hello,
I was hoping that someone could give me a hand a post a picture of their E-brake cable routing. I was missing the E-brake cable hooks which mount someplace after the tensioner. One on either side of the frame. Well, I bought these from LMC ,but they are a lot smaller than I thought they would be, (especially for the price! )and I have no idea how these are supposed to mount to the frame. I have my E-brake cable adjusted to the maximum just to get a little bit of a working brake. I was hoping these would take the extra slack out so that the system would work correctly. First picture is of the two little cute things in front of my keyboard, the second is the page out of the LMC catalog. They are item number 6 in the top illustration. Thank you in advance, |

Re: Emergency Brake cable hooks
The two little cute things hook into the frame. Adjust # 5 out so as to have slack in cable to hook the "cuties" into hole in frame and then adjust slack out of cable.

Re: Emergency Brake cable hooks
Hey 70C10Toejam,
Thank you very much for providing the pictures. That gives me a much better idea. Now I'll be able to locate which frame hole to use. Thanks, |

Re: Emergency Brake cable hooks
Would anyone have any pictures or diagrams of the 4 X 4 setup? Specifically the front passenger side equalizer hook? I have been looking for these for over a year now.
Thanks!! |
