Got my wheels on today! Pics too

Well,
First, thanks for the patience (hmmmmmmm). Finally got the correct nuts and got the wheels on the truck. Pix are a little crude, (old camera) as the wife took my Canon with her to Cal. The bottom pix is with the old rusty wheels.

Those aren't rallys, those are just late model wheels

my bad... i always figured that must be what they were, since they look like a newer generation of the 80s rallys.

After re-reading that....
I didn't mean to sound rude.
And most ppl call them rallys, but they are simply the base model wheel on the 88 - 98 3/4 ton /one ton trucks.

You going to be in Nebraska any time soon? I'd take $40 for the whole set including center caps and lugs. Don't have time to pack and ship 'em.
If you would like, i can take some pix and email them to you.

Actually, I was thinking about blasting and powdercoating the center part of the wheel where the rust is. Time really isn't my friend so they'll probably sit in my shed.

Thanks, she's a strong runner and heavy hauler. I really want to make her pretty but then I'd be afraid to use her. Maybe when I get too old to build stuff and haul rocks around, I'll put a party dress on her.

The truck looks great with those on there. Sorry you had to jump through all the hoops to git-r-done though.

I had another complete set of them that were just as nice but they had tires on them so I sold them on the Des Moines CraigsList so they could be picked up. I put them on Fri. night and a guy was here at 1 o'clock Sat and bought them. (Pic attached) Hard to believe that the nephew was on the way to the salvage yard with them when he stopped by the house....

Take care.

If there weren't hoops to jump through, life might get a little boring, doncha think?

I'm real pleased with the way the truck looks now. One of these days I'm going to pull her down and paint her. Panama yellow with pearl white top and lower panels. I'll paint the wheels yellow to match. Probably go with light brown leather interior. All that's gonna take is some serious bucks and a little time.

Sorry, no pics. It's a pale yellow that came out on early Corvettes, '58 I believe. Nothin' real loud.

You have good taste. Got any more pictures? I'm not sure how far down I'm going to take my truck when I do get ready to gussy it up.
