New here thought id share my rides
hey guys, just want to say i love this site, it helped me alot in building my truck so i thought i would share it with you. First off i bought it 8 years ago when i was 14 and loved it ever since. Its a 67 bigwindow longbed daily driver. TBI 350 with a 700r4 trans. its the first motor and trans ive ever built and i think they turned out pretty good, sure beats the 327 and powerglide combo it came with in 67. it also has 2.5' drop spindles in front with a 6' ECE kit out back. interior is redone with all auto meter gauges and a seat out of a 2003 chevy pickup. anyway any feedback is welcomed and tell me what you think i should do different or next.

Re: New here thought id share my rides
Nice rides there. The white truck looks good, clean detailed engine bay. I would say paint and or interior next.
By the way. How did you plumb your fuel system? I had planned on a TBI setup at one time. What did you use for a pump, where did you mount it and what did you run for fuel lines. I saw the blazer tank in the rear. I did the same mod on mine. Welcome

Fan of the 67's are we.. very cool rides. Ideas on the truck- you could always start body work and refinish the log mani's..

Very nice collection you got there.. Paint would be next, that is unless you just want to drive and enjoy. Did you put disc on the front yet?

Re: New here thought id share my rides
i agree new paint is definitly on the list but i cant decide on a color. i was thinkin either white(of course) or maybe silver with some kind of two tone color scheme. i really like the flat black trucks, and bein that i drive ity everyday it might be easier to take care of.

Re: New here thought id share my rides

Re: New here thought id share my rides
I know that isn't just a 2.5" drop up front, is it really a 5/6 drop or something like that?
Either way, truck looks great! |
