wide narrow bed?

Kind of feel stupid here, but what is the difference between wide beds and narrow beds?
I didn't know there is to different beds?

LWB= Long wheel base

Long narrow = Long step


Long wide = Long fleet


Same goes for short beds

Yup. I agree with above. Although some people use the following:
SWB = Short Wide Bed
LWB = Long Wide Bed
SNB = Short Narrow bed
LNB = Long Narrow Bed
Although this isn't what most consider the correct designation it is what some people use. A wide bed would be a Fleetside truck and a narrow bed would be a Stepside bed.

ok, thanks guys, I was talking to a guy in town and told him I got the short bed 68 fleetside and he asked if it was wide or narrow??? I was lost. But I think he was lost instead.

He could be from the South. The term "short wide bed" is common in the South to describe a short wheelbase fleetside.
