Angry Help Alternator

PLEASE I need help, I have read numerous post on alternator conversion and it seem I cannot find the correct wire colors to remove and convert from a generator to an alternator, I have attach a photo of my voltage regulator, can someone please assist me on which color wire to connect to what, I would like to convert to a 3 wire instead of a 1 wire. (1957 Chevy Truck)

upload a pict of the alternator you have... is it a gm with an internal regulator or an external.. i use to rebuild them for a living 20 years ago...
