What goes here?

What is intended for the blank rectangle at the left end of these valve covers?
They are recessed...

Re: What goes here?

They are off a big block...
I bought a couple of the 400 HP stickers, cleaned the area real well with lacquer thinner and applied them with the sticky stuff on the back. A week later they were both gone...
Corn, where did you find those and what did you use to stick 'em on with?
Thanks
