216ci 3.5l inline 6
how many people continue to use the stock 216ci 3.5l inline 6 on the forum. Got any pics of the engine bay. Reason Im asking is Im buying a 48 that has a recently rebuilt motor in it, it just needs to be completely wired up and the truck needs some assembly but I just want to see who else has the stocker yet.
sorry just noticed i should have put this in the engine forum, feel free to move it.

Do you plan on using EZ-wire or painless? They may have a diagram that comes with them.

There's plenty of people who still run with the original stockers in these trucks. In fact I'd guess that at Stovebolt the majority still do.

Re: 216ci 3.5l inline 6
Think the majority running the old inline 6's have switched over to the full pressure 235's instead of the splash oil 216 engines. You really have to know what to look for to tell the difference though as the 216, 235 and 261 look almost identical. The Stovebolt and Inliners sites can help you determine exactly what you have if you post the casting number.
