Front suspension Ideas Will it work?

Question 1...... I was wondering if I can use 73-87 a-arms, shaft and spindle on my 68 with out changing my engine cross member will it it bolt up to the 73-87 spindles.
Question 2....... If I can't do the above idea I was thinking of getting tubular a-arms but the sales rep told me I could get the 73-87 style ball joints that will fit the 73-87 spindles will these be a direct bolt on if I get the 68 style tubular a-arms with 73-87 style ball joints?

Yes, they'll fit. I put '76 A-arms under my '68.

Looks like it has a bushing 'shell' & is of the press-fit variety. If that's correct, it makes it a post 73 upper a-arm.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: Front suspension Ideas Will it work?

Either way, you can use 73-87 spindles on it.

Re: Front suspension Ideas Will it work?

Only issue I know of is that the tie rod hole on the spindle is larger on the 73-up spindle. I imagine you could just change outer tie rods to compensate.
