700r4?
just installed a 700r4 and when it shifts into 2nd gear, at light throttle, the rpms drop by about 1000 and it boggs the motor down.
the best way I can explain it is that it sounds like an old dump truck taking off. my 4l60E in my suburban only drops about 300 rpms, under light throttle. |

Re: 700r4?
you may have the tv cable adjusted to lightly and it shifts to 3rd really quickly. Check cable to make sure the cable is tight at wide open throttle.

Re: 700r4?
I'd also say TV cable adjustment.
I think that's like 90% of problems with 700r4's The Bowtie Overdrives TV Made EZ kit is great. DLB |

Re: 700r4?
I have the tv made ez from bto, I set it up with a pressure gauge and called them and they said that the tv was ok. So I don't think that is the problem.

Re: 700r4?
the 700 is known for a huge drop between first and second. I don't know what is normal for it though.
