I don't know how much to ask

I've got these items to sell and I don't know how much to ask. The parts came off of my 65

I have the complete 6 lug suspension with drums, rallys and all rings and centers. I've got it listed for $800 on craigslist

Also the heater box listed on craigslist for $99.

I have a bench seat that flips forward that has good upolstery for $99 on craigslist.

Am I in the ball park with these prices?

Thanks
Alan

Re: I don't know how much to ask

personally, $ 800 seems like a lot for the suspension.....Most people are wanting to go to the 5 lug system......I have seen the front susp. for sale for $ 100, but don't know if they ever sold them.....I just junked mine.....

The heater box doesn't seem to be too bad of a price......only time will tell....

Thanks for the reply. The rallys must be worth something, I would think.

Re: I don't know how much to ask

Personally I think you'll have trouble giving the suspension (minus the wheels) away. The bench seat you can give away, might find someone to buy it, but if it's not local the shipping will kill you, most folks want buckets, or a newer more comfortable seat. I don't have a clue about the heater box. Good luck with it.

Re: I don't know how much to ask

Rally wheels at most junkyards are 15-20 bucks, add another 10 for beauty rings and caps. Then add some more for the tires depending on size and condition. I would price the wheels and tires for about $150-200.

The bench is only valuable for someone doing restorations and then it has to be perfect.

The suspension is basically scrap.

Re: I don't know how much to ask

$400 sounds a bit much IMHO... Then again I got my whole truck for $500 with rallys already on it.

Re: I don't know how much to ask

In my area, 12 bolt rearends go for $75 bare and up to $150 with attached suspension pieces like the trailing arms and springs. One guy even emailed two moths later and asked if I would come get his out of his yard for $25.
