Speedometer question
I'm looking at aftermarket speedometers and can get mech or electric. I've got the sm465/np205 currently, so I assume the mech would be the simplist hookup (?) but was wondering if someone made an electric sending unit that would work with the 465/205. The speedos are expensive and I was thinking about possibly going with an overdrive automatic down the road... thoughts?
Thanks in advance, Tony

Re: Speedometer question
the nice thing about electric speedos that i've used(stewart warner) is they're easy enough to recalibrate for changes in gear ratios and overdrive trannies and tire sizes// they have a sending unit that screws onto the original mechanical output of the tranny and then in the back of the gauge is a series of dip switches that you set to correct the mph reading
